Tutorial : Amberle
Level : Beginner
Technique : Crossweave

Equipment :

- Pearl 4 mm.
- Pearl 6 mm.
- Seed bead 8/0 and 11/0
- Jumprings and clasp
- Nylon thread no. 25.

The white bracelet used all swarovski white pearls. The green bracelet used swarovski pearl light green 6mm. and platinum 4mm. This bracelet is very easy for beginner. The finished bracelet will look like a dome.

1.

Cut the thread around 60 cm. Make the alternate pattern of 6mm pearls and 8/0 seed beads. Cross both threads at the 6mm pearl (red arrow).

2.

Add one seed bead and one 4mm. pearl to each thread. Cross both threads at a 11/0 seed bead.

3.

Add one 4mm pearl and 11/0 seed bead to each thread. Cross both threads at 6mm. pearl (red arrow).

4.

Pick up one thread and put it in the next 8/0 seed bead (red arrow). Add one 11/0 seed bead, one 4mm pearl, one 11/0 seed bead, one 4mm pearl and one 11/0 seed bead. Put the thread into the next 8/0 seed bead (blue arrow).

5.

Repeat step 4 around the motif. Pull the threads snugly.

Make six or seven motifs.

6.

You can connect each motif as you wish. I connect them with this simple method.

Cut the new thread. Exit your thread at the 4mm. pearls (red arrows). Add one 11/0 seed bead, one 4mm pearl and one 11/0 seed bead to each thread. Put the thread into 4mm pearl on the next motif (blue arrows). Put your threads into the beads to the other side of the motif and connect to another motif the same way.

7.

I added five seed beads and form a ring to hold a jumpring and added a magnetic clasp.

Done!

Try using other shapes of beads to see more unexpected result. And you can use this motif to create the matching ring, earrings or pendant too.

Happy beading~!
